
I've said it before, namely that there are too many artists out there producing material which could be anyone and Redrum don't escape from that type of criticism either. "You Can't Buy No Hero" is the standout track as far as I'm concerned and is a mid tempo song with a strong chorus which is actually one of the less Coverdale-esque songs on offer. Other than a wholly redundant cover of John Farnham's "You're The Voice" and the pointless intro of "One of Us" which lasts less than a minute this is a pleasurable album if you are melodically-inclined.

Victims of Our Circumstances is Redrum's second album and if nothing else they have proved that like so many others they have worshipped at the feet of the mighty Whitesnake. Blackmore, Bonfire, Zeno Roth, Rain and Bloodbound) is in their ranks may well be the main "in" for most people. Athan 'Lyssa' Kazakis and Panos Baxevanis founded the project during September 2003, however, the fact that German vocalist, songwriter, producer and engineer Michael Bormann (ex-Jaded Heart, J.R. Redrum is a melodic Hard Rock band based in Thessaloniki (Greece).
